Part way through doing a turbo conversion. Got a stock turbo manifold, turbo injectors, front mount, 2 and 3/4 exhaust. Link G1 ECU. Got an rb20det turbo to use and wondering if that will be far to small ? and if i should get bigger injectors? thinking of GTR 440cc Looking to run about 8-10 psi daily. greatful for any and all help!

Yep got a custom dump pipe. Ill put turbo and injectors at top of my shopping list for upgrade season. What you think a ball park figure for power would be with that setup?

You'll need to have a aftermarket ecu or Nistune to run different/larger injectors. For it to work properly.

Have you thought about running deka 610cc high impedance injectors. Suppose to flow pretty good. Which is what I'm using ATM. My current setup on VL is LINK G3, deka 610cc injectors, T3 high flow(max 20psi boost), intercooler blah blah & making 215rw/kw. The only thing that will be limiting your power(boost) would be the turbo. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Going ahead with the parts i have Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Standard injector size is 11mm. But the actual fuel rail is larger. Exactly like this one but 11mm http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/RB30-RB26...em 53e3620506 (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/RB30-RB26-RB25-FUEL-RAIL-CONVERSION-14mm-oring-vl-turbo-/360297137414?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item53e3620506)

ive got 25 turbo on my auto calais goes better then my old exec manual standard turbo setup all u have to do is twist the core or the turbo so oil drain is down and make a dump did my research on the 25 turbos compared to standard vlt turbos diffenece is rb25 bigger compressor wheel and smaller rear housing just cant boost to high say over 12 to 14 up to u other wise say goodbye to te rear ceramic wheel also anyone that tells u it to small for a rb30 the rb25 flows alot more air through the head and revs higher cant wait to get mine on dyno and see the diff ---------- Post added 14-11-12 at 15:32 ---------- also can pick up 25 turbo dirt cheap

Mean thanks for the info ledouche. Iv been trying to find 20 and 25 turbo specs its not the easiest info to find. Scored myself a 25det turbo, lines and GTR 440cc injectors mean deal. Stoked cant wait to start putting it together. You got a build thread or any photos of your setup?

My mate bought a wagon years ago which had a 20 turbo on it. Went good, only made 136kw but was fun. Then put that turbo on another mates old car, drove it round the block with just the dump pipe on and it spat the wheel out of the turbo. So be cautious of those turbo's!

yeh thats the big downfall the rear wheel yeh took me awhile to find the specs also forgot to mention if u dnt use standard oil feed lines that come with the rb25 turbo u need to use a 0.8mm - 1.0mm restrictor as its bb turbo the oil pressure will stuff the seal in the turbo and u will get alot of smoke anyway heres some quick pics im also running 10psi daily and had no dramas so far in the first pic i also drilled and tapped a barb after where it says nissan for the wastegate and heres the dump pipe i got welded for it and temporary exhaust Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
