Hello fellow CT people! Id thought I would post up my build as it may interest of you. Some of you may remember my old SL I built.. It was my first car, built in my garage and was pretty damn cool! But sadly after only 2 months of being on the road someone decided to to T-bone it at a roundabout. :'( So I pulled out the rebuilt diff, brakes and suspension goodies aswell as some other good stuff and sent it to the scrap. After ridiculous amounts of CT for sale section stalking I put up a "Want to buy" for a red VLC shell. Soon after I purchased a Calais rolling shell with all the hard stuff done. Cage, bare metal respray, hidden wiring and a smoothed bay. You may remeber it from its previous owner.. Yeah, tough. So the shell was delivered to my house with only just enough underneath to keep it rolling, I supplied diff and struts so it could roll. I have currently stripped everything from the bay and underneath to so I can start from scratch. A blank canvas! The plan is to revert it from the drag car it was to more of streeter. So keep watch of this thread as I peice it back together! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Thanks guys! Quote: Originally Posted by 3lturbo [View Post] Mate you've got an awesome base to start with. Keep the updates coming, how much power you aiming for? Im looking to make a streetable 300kw to suit manual driving anything over is a bonus, trying to decide how to make it though. Picked up leather VS senator seats to suit a VL to put in. Heres a photo from the previous owner. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
