Depends really, do you want a turbo? Sunroof? Leather? Electrics? Etc. Ball park figure - probably looking around the $6,000 mark for a stock non-turbo in roadworthy condition from a car yard, really all depends...

Id be looking for something on the lines of manual, turboed, good km range (100-190k's), clean interior and exterior, good looking paint job with only a few minor problems to fix. Id say my max would be 5k-7k but it depends on the location, id be driving from A.C.T to Sydney and Melbourne alot of the time because there's barley any sold in the a.c.t area that are good standards.

5k - 7k would be the perfect price for any buyers budget looking for a low ks, manual calais turbo. In any area, todays sellers perfect price for a gem like you described would be asking double, 10 - 14k.

SI or SII? factory manual? factory turbo? so you don't want one with less than 100k on it? and you don't want to pay less than $5k? ---------- Post added 08-11-12 at 07:44 ---------- Quote: Originally Posted by satansLBO [View Post] 5k - 7k would be the perfect price for any buyers budget looking for a low ks, manual calais turbo. Looking for information is a good start, but go on the net look at the market for your self. get a feel for the active prices of what your after. Why wate? You may missed the oppertunity to grab a bargin for 2k-4k or You may not get that opertunity again and have to settle for what you can get. Im looking for nice vls and have always got my eye open. Especially in WA where the turbos are built for 11s, the calais are run down/cheap and the execs are stock or come with a vs body kit. oh and don be affraid to investigate the odd calais thrown on there because there are so many dimonds in the rough mate. Good luck D

Free would be the perfect price if I was a buyer. ---------- Post added 08-11-12 at 13:47 ---------- Quote: Originally Posted by satansLBO [View Post] In any area, todays sellers perfect price for a gem like you described would be asking double, 10 - 14k. I'd say that will be as cheap as they'll get too.. I can see the day coming when 18-22k for a mint example will arrive now.

Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Do yourself a favour and save up more cash. Get yourself a genuine turbo. You will be wrapped you done it in years time. Exspecialy if you ever want to sell it. A non genuine turbo, ME personaly depending on the condition and if it has reg, $2000 max. And thats squeezing it out of me... Come to think about it, i could never own one. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
