I am sure this would have been covered before. I can't find it my mechanic told me I could go up to 17-18lbs on a genuine turbo rb30. He said the timing wi have to be adjusted I have bolts ins at the moment not forged internals help would be appreciated thanks.

Max u will get out of standard t3 is 12-14 psi unless hi flowed around 18-20 max as for the engine I would say depends on ur tuner and engine mods

If its a genuine rb30et the over boost valve on the inlet planum will open long before the 17-18 psi you were told it could handle . Also the injectors will max duty cycle at 14 psi i wouldn't go pushing any more then 12 psi until bolts ons ( injectors, high flow turbo, ecu remap etc ) have been done...

The bolt are your limit to a genuine a8 motor.

Mate i was running 20psi for years just with a cam and all other bolton mods tuned by rajab its all in the tune i tell ya good tune = bad tune = Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Yea a micotec lt10s and 770cc injectors and a 044 pump

mine was on 17 psi and it was fine. had 660cc injectors 044 and bigger turbo on a a6 bottom end no problems at all

Ive been running 19 pound for 5 yrs on a a8 standard bottom end and head. Driven on the weekends and given a hard time now and again. Just had 036 injectors, haltech ecu and a highflow. Im going to push the standard bottom end with a gt3788r, 1000cc injectors, ported head/cam and retune.
