I recently did a manual conversion to my vl with a rb30e everything works sweet but for some reason the gearbox seems to be too long because when i went to put in my centre console the shifter seems to hit the edge of the console and i had to make a bigger hole in the transmission tunnel. I am not able to move the shifter as the console keeps it in 1st 3rd or 5th im so confused as to why the gearbox is to long. i have the manual center console aswell

what box did you put in? you have to bend the shifter when installing the 33 box because of this issue.
