Hi All, Quick update on the problem. Success! Replaced the crossover side pipe & Vacumm line from the intake, also found some sort of a split hose under the plenum! Cleaned the AAC Valve & Bumped the idle a bit - now running a LOT better. Cleaned all the CAS,AFM,Coolant temp etc plugs too. Took it for a test drive - boosts like a champion! Blowing black smoke & pinging under hard boost, but driving nicely otherwise... Will set the timing properly & go from there. All temps fine, slight burny smell when I got back - from all the gasket goo & dump pipe paint I am guessing. No hoses/pipes appear to be rubbing. One last question, How hot does the crossover pipe get? I can see why holden put a heatshield on - feels bloody hot! Anyhow, thanks all for the tips! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
