6L80E Conversion

Hey guys I Am currently in the process of doing an ls2 conversion into my vs. Does anybody have any info and tips in regards to doing a a 6L80E (6speed auto) conversion Into a pre VE Commodore?

You will need to get a stand alone computer. There are people in the USA who make them. Sorry don't know any more than that.

replace the intermediate shaft with a stronger one before it brakes

not trying to be a smart ass but do you have to use the 6l80e transmission? you would be better of using a different trans if possible, they can be strengthened and rebuilt but it costs alot and still arn't that strong. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7pkT9FdKpvc this shows some of the parts that brake and has info
