Hi All, The good news is the conversion (stock t3 etc) is in & up & running. Now the bad news - The idle is too low & rough, and the Tacho is now not working. Are these 2 events connected??? The Idle adjustment screw was already previously bottomed out. I can't possibly screw it in any more - should this even be touched? If I raise the revs the motor is smooth & clear note, with minimal exhaust emissions. Is the sensor for the Tacho on the distributor??? if so, which wires? I might have bumped something??? I have briefly played with the timing, wriggled the CAS & AFM plugs, but it's made no difference. Sorry for all the newby questions. This forum has fixed most of the problems so far. Thanks!

1. Check ECU. on the ECU there is the diagnosis POT or screw, this will also adjust revs. 2. Take your IAC off the plenum and clean it out mate. IAC (idle air controle) 3 long ish screws. 3. for a far fectched but poss problem "with minimal exhaust emissions" your exhaust may have an obstruction or cat may be blocked this will affect idle and other things search "blocked cat" for more information
