Hello everyone, this is my 5th VL so far and 2nd wagon. Always had a soft spot for wagons and after looking at this one in May, I decided it was to much work for me then. I was tempted to get away from VL's but ended up buying a calais sedan which there is a thread for as well from a while back. I let it go for a while but was still after a wagon. Anyway last weekend the bloke called me up and said i could take it for a 1000. Went the following saturday an payed 900. All power options working, very good interior and solid driveline. Why so cheap? Rust, rust whick will be attended to. Here are the specs and some shots i took this morning, enjoy! All comments welcomed Make / Model: 1988 VL Berlina Wagon Colour: Red Bodykit: None Engine Type: N/A RB30 Engine Mods: none Power: ? Exhaust: Standard Gearbox: Auto 4 speed Diff: Standard Brakes: Front Disc, Rear Drum Suspension: Stock, needs strut tops Wheels/Tyres: Stockies Interior: Grey, really clean after pulling seat covers off Stereo: Sony headeck Other Mods: None Future mods: Full license will be available in February, so from now til then i plan to: - Remove front and rear screens and fix rust - Remove driveline and rebuild engine to turbo specs - Upgrade brakes and suspension - Exterior needs attention, overall the paint is good but it seems parking was an issue for the previous owner as the front/ rear bars are all missing paint. Unsure whether to keep it single tone, MX Grey Berlina spec bars and door moulds or Asteroid silver. Thoughts? -Runs out of rego in a few weeks so will be off the road until next year Here are the pics: http://s296.photobucket.com/albums/mm171/Aussie3692/

Will be a fair mission but I'll get it done. Really wasn't expecting it to be that clean under the seat covers

Update: Went to supercheap today and bought a socket set, 4 jack stands and a jack. Removed the front bar and side bumpers. Will be staying off until the intercooler is mounted Going to repaint them or get aftermarket bars and paint them mx grey. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

okay, bit of progress. Had the front screen taken out and was left with this a mate is coming on monday to get stuck into the rust and eventually repaint all the bars and side moulds along with redoing the black window surrounds the 28 spline diff, complete with calipers and handbrake cable. Will hopefully be getting a LSD centre sometime next week and also got myself a new daily. VT S1, Immaculate condition, 128000kms, $2000
