I havnt done a full swap... but ive essentially had my whole interior out in pieces.. Converted SL to Calais. The only tricky bit would be the roof lining as it tucks into the rear windscreen rubber seal

I've pulled out blue SL and replaced it with red Calais stuff. No electrics but it was all
pretty easy and straight forward.
It was about 12 months back but from memory I think it took about 5.5 hrs.
The biggest pain was remembering how the dash went back together after pulling it out.
Re; Rooflining, I just very carefully cut the old rooflining out around the rear 'screen and used an
industrial spray adhesive (can get it from any decent hardware shop) to put the new
stuff in. You can't tell that it's been done in this way by looking at it.
Just make sure if you do it like that, prior to spraying anything that you've pulled the
rooflining tight and that there's no creases. Because once you spray it, it's stuck.

I've done it, and the roof sucks. Back window should come out.
