Hey all, been a long time lurking on here and had just signed up. Was hoping my first post was to show of my old girl but unfortunately its was stolen last night (sat 6th oct) from outside my house in Ellerslie, plate number is RE1398. On Bathurst as well!!!! Its a silver calais, paint job a bit stuffed (esp bonnet and boot), lowered on polished calais rims, beautiful and original red interior (even factory tape deck). Trying to attach a photo. cheers guys, I'm mostly gutted that its another VL 'lost'. On the bright side I get to drive my project VL until I find a new car, its a berlina with a RB20DET so a little quicker than the Calais. Holden winning yesterday helped then I saw the mintest red GTS last night going over the harbour bridge so day ended a lot better than it started. and thanks gasguzler for fixing the pic.

most likely VL_Dans red GTS by the sounds of it ..... red interior always catches my eye and is hardly ever on sale on sites such as TM i'll post details of it up on Face book aswell for you Just realised that you brought this off David awhile back aye

I hooked on the Motorway and saw VL tail-lights in the distance so had to speed up and have a perv at your car I live and work on the Shore so I'll keep an eye out for your car on this side of the bridge Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

VLTWeapon, I'm the guy who picked it up off you, had been running mint, did a few things like O2 sensor/leads/dist cap and it hadn't missed a beat, it just drove so much nicer than the Berlina. VL-Dan, that was me, loved your car, hope all my tail-lights were going! Need to get working on the Berlina so it doesn't look so bad, have the side moldings/boot strip etc to go back on which would probably help a lot. She was insured at least, think it will be hard to find another in similar condition for reasonable price so might have to try something a bit newer. Cheers again for the comments guys, I put something up on my facebook about it been stolen and all I got was a bunch of smartarse comments from my mates who have no appreciation for VLs!!

I updated my garage lock after seeing this, my vl is like a twin to yours but rb20det manual, ill keep an eye out for you

I had to look close to see the differences, almost identical! the pinstripe down the side is biggest diff. If I hadn't already bought a replacement i'd be tempted by yours, love the silver ext, red int combo
