I'm having really big trouble with my current auto transmission. I never seems to want to stay in OD when I put the throttle down a bit and when I've got it in POWER mode, it still changes into OD when going 60km/h. It also flares a bit when changing from 2nd into 3rd gear. Should I get my current tranny reconditioned or just get a used one, and where can I get them?

It may sound weird but before you spend a heap of money on the transmission. Replace the Dash cluster. Or get it refurbished. Mine used to go in OD and sometime not, and shift early, so i replaced the cluster, and it works like a dream now. If that doesnt work, get some more info on the box, hope this helps.

How much would it roughly cost to get a manual conversion? ---------- Post added 08-10-12 at 16:56 ---------- Quote: Originally Posted by Jako-25 [View Post] It may sound weird but before you spend a heap of money on the transmission. I am planning on getting a calais or berlina cluster anyway because I don't have a rev gauge, i dont like any of the aftermarket ones. But thanks for the tip, didnt think the cluster would be the problem at all.
