Hey guys ive been looking all over the place and throught i would just ask on here. I just swapped my rb30E for a rb20det, the engine is cranking over etc, ive got spark, ive got fuel going to the engine, but it wont start, now and then it does a loud backfire. I had the cam angle sensor off the engine when i repainted it, just wondering if it has anything to do with that. Any info of links, pictures would be great. PS: Trolls will be ignored.

You've probably put it back wrong because back firing is usually due to timming being out. Or there's paint in the sensor hole
