moved batter to the boot in my vl turbo

hey guys i have recently done and engine change in my vl turbo and have moved the battery to the boot at the same time but i am have a little problem every time i connect the battery the motor automatically starts cranking (never use to do this) can any one put me in the right direction of what to do ec thanks in advance Jacob

Did you run the positive wire from the battery to the starter at all?
