You can't really. Unless you cut out your headlight trays(what your head light sits in) & weld a bracket or something to sit it up higher. The old AVO stage 1 intercoolers sit in the left hand guard. Or you could buy a a 600 x 230 size intercooler

i would have thought that it would all be about positioning brackets but then how do you counter-act that with the piping ?

its easy to hide a 600x300 behind/above a vl front bar without cutting anything. mines on an angle (bottom more forward than the top) and you cant tell its even there; edit* ill post pics of mine soon, photobucket wont let me upload

(http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/217/40378233788733623373710.jpg/) Uploaded with ImageShack.us (http://imageshack.us) Heres mine with a 600x300x76 cooler running gktech pipes. Can only JUST see it if you get on your knees and get level with the front bar. can see where we cut to make it fit, also had to take a small section out of the black plastic thingo on the headlight (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/577/37883230039644664949353.jpg/) Uploaded with ImageShack.us (http://imageshack.us) Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
