hi guys i recently broke my 28 spline axel in my vl , we replaced it with a new axel and new bearings for both, making sure they were for disc brakes. when u put the bearing on does it go spacer, seal, bearing, retainer. or do i not need the spacer ? because there is to much end play when the caliper is off . if the spacer is needed where does it go on ?

From the differential side out, it should be: seal, bearing, retainer, axle. With the bearing cup sitting in the end of the axle tube.

Too much play it will leak. I had one with same problem I got a shim Made up and put it behind bearing case in housing fixed play and stopped it leaking.
