Hey guy's i've just changed my vl calais to manual and im missing the wire that lead's from the plug near the brakebooster to the front right gearbox plug, Will this stop it from starting? Allso im missing the back plug that leads from the back right side of the gearbox to around the shifter for the reverse light's. Car wont even tick over just wondering if it has anything to do with it. ---------- Post added 10-09-12 at 14:42 ---------- Fixed, please delete

The first one is the converter lock up i think, if it if the old auto was an NA auto. Second, use the auto one. 3rd, there is 2 fat pink wires near the battery tray and need to be cut and joined to bypass the factory neutral switch, There is heaps of pics on here around the traps if you cant find them..

Hey mate, yea ive fixed it since posting this thread. i used a bit of wire to bridge in the plug near the brakebooster it cranks over now. i sitll need to get the reverse lights fixed but all in good time lol thanks for your reply ---------- Post added 10-09-12 at 22:09 ---------- Ive allso tryed to join the two purple wires and once i connect my battery back up the car trys to start its self even with out the key, so ive gone with just a wire in the plug near the brakebooster. Seems to do the trick, only starts when i turn the key that way. http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/showth...t=74074&page=7 (http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/showthread.php?t=74074&page=7) Thats where i got the idea, the picture under the bolts.
