I only just managed to get underneath my first car after having it for roughly 5 months. And I noticed that my rear suspension doesn't have any springs, only shocks. I was wondering why it was such a rough ride back there. Can having only a shock at the rear damage it?
you are kidding.... it must be super dumped?
yes. damage is a certain. springs catch and reduce the energy or force of bounces in the road. so simply speaking all of that force is being pushed through suspension rubbers, shockers, chassis, rims and tyres.
your entire steering and suspension setup will be out of whack and this will cause excessive deterioration and potentially stress on the body and chassis.
get some springs even cut ones are better than none.
are you trolling? noone could not know they didn't have springs...
I am not ****ting you mate. I dont really know much when i comes to cars. The only technical thing i know about them is air goes through a turbo, magic happens, then you get boost. [Joke] But still, not much.
so there was no spring where this one is ??? it must have been very slammed at the rear ?? id be putting some springs in asap lol
