Im not sure if this has been touched on in previous threads but im thinking of going weld prostars 15x4 on the front and 15x8 on the rear.Ive been told however that a 8inch rim will require my borg warner diff to be shortened.the question i ask is.....by how much?and if anyone else has done this? cheers Damo

Lebvlt and Rbfrog will be able to answer your question, I'd be having a really rough guess at around 2 inches either side

I didn't have welds but had convo pros, 15x8.5 with a 3 3/8 bs and shortened it 70mm per side, could have gotten away with about 55m but as the car also has billets i wanted the max dish b4 having to tub the car! I still retained the factory mounts but had to return back to drums, to keep disks on it u cant Shorten more then 25mm as after that the calliper hits the shock mount! Hope that helps u out mate.

Why can't you just rotate the axle flange to relocate the caliper to a position that does not interfere with the shock absorber?
