Could somebody tell me the pro's and cons of a dose pipe, much appreciated!

Ok Im not 100% certain but..
Pro's:
-madd dose
Con's:
- objects can get sucked into the compressor wheel and cause massive damage
- Defects - i.e. because there is no filter on the end

Thanks for the response it was helpful just one more question, Would a bov make the same 'dose' effect on a rb30 engine?

Hmm again, Im not 100% sure but I don't think it will. It will make more of like a spool-up noise then a just like a big release of pressure.. If you know what I mean.. Not so much the zututu noise like a dose pipe.

Man the best thing to do is plumb the dose pipe up to the exhaust so u recycle the dose

05-09-12, 23:12 GMT+10#12 Kind of depends. I'm running a BOV and a short pipe to a long pod filter. ON mine anything under 17psi it's dose's & after 17psi you hear the BOV.
