hi all i had bought a vl wagon & its has been converted from auto to manual & i have notice that there is half a wiring loom for the gear box & it has been bridged so that it can be started but once i remove the loom it doesn't start but thats not the problem.. i have no reverse lights & i want to find out which wires to hook up to get the reverse lights? my loom has 8 wires coming out of it there is a black & yellow ,blue & black which are bridge & there is 6 other wires that are not joined they are yellow,white,red, blue ,red & black & black & white wire.. which of these two wires of the 6 spare wires can i hook up to connect to the reverse switch so my reverse lights can work?

Loo I have the same problem and am yet to solve it there is a thread on the conversion and how to make the new loom but it sort of blows my mind!

Have u worked out which wire is goin to the lights ? If so get a test light and with ignition on check those wires ur speaking of if one has power then switch off ignition c if power is gone if so good . Connect 10 amp to the power wire befor switch then the wire that goes to the lights to other side of switch . Lights are already earthed at the light assembly . If all that's done u should have reverse lights . Wire to the reverse lights is green from memory .

I converted my vl turbo from a auto to a manual and the wires i used are black with white stripe and red with black stripe, extend the wires down to the reverse swicth on the side of your gearbox and wen you select reverse that should complete the circut, well it worked for me

I have kinda sought it out i think lol i had brought a wagon for parts & there was a wiring loom for the gear box but its auto, but will it still work or not!!
