G'day I've got a full custom engine bay but yet it's let down buy the loom going to the headlights or ether sides of the bay . How do I hide it ?

Take the front guads off and run the wiring all behind the guards.

You'll need to extend the looms slightly too

As above. Takes a bit of time but well worth the effort. A few hints below:
When extending the loom, make sure you use the same gauge wire as what you are extending, and make sure you solder each of your joints and use heatshrink to insulate. As this will add thickness - stager your cuts/joins so you don't end up with a lump in the loom where the joins are.
Use grommets where you pass the loom through from under the dash to the inside of the guard so the loom doesn't rub on the metal.
Before cutting any wires to extend - Label them all. I just use some white electrical tape before and after where i'm about to cut and label them with the same (but unique for that wire) letter. Then when you go to join them up again - join "A" to "A", "B" to "B" and so forth. Last thing you want is to mix any of the wires up.
Give it a little bit of slack. Don't want to be plugging the headlights into a stretched connection.
Make sure you attach the loom to the inner guard every 300mm or so to make sure it doesn't move around or fall out. Use P-Clamps or I just drilled 2 small holes and used zipties.
