do it yourself mate, its fairly easy.. eastern turbochargers sell the rebuild kit for around $180 or you can get them off Ebay cheaper than that..

Even if you brought the kit you'll need to have the turbo balanced. Maybe have a chat with ATP & see if they balance your turbo with a e-bay rebuild kit.

20-08-12, 17:02 GMT+10#11 well ive bit the bullet and taken the turbo to work and stripped it down. seems fairly basic. both turbine wheels are in good nick no chips or missing bits.only thing im not sure is when i removed the compressor housing there is a gasket that has gone britle and is not res useable do theses come with the rebuild kit

20-08-12, 23:55 GMT+10#19 eastern turbochargers OK HERE'S my story..
i done mine in 2007 at eastern turbochargers in bayswater. everything changed on it except for the front snail all acid cleaned what eva . basically a stock t3. but with a better rear exhaust snail. ( since my turbo **** itself. some how over boosted. IE: this is the turbo BRESCIANI INSTALLED )
eastern turbochargers told me if i wanted to hiflow it latter i didn't have to get a better rear house snail bit. since it was changed. and i would just only need to change the turbine wheel and machined out to suit the t3/t4 wheel
don't know if i got ripped off or not .....?
( mind you i got all the OLD parts in a box still in the shed on what he changed if you guys want a pic )
I PAIED $ 2160 dollars 5 years ago sill got the paper
sorry champ if i bugged ya thread...
