Just after some info if there are any guys using Turbo 400's in there VL turbo's
if so whats your opinion of them in the VL turbo's?
Im looking into selling my Jatco for something a little stronger as i want to drag my car a lot more!

Keeping the car now? Turbo 400s are an awesome box, but chew a lot of power. Best bet for it would be c4, or just be a mad dog and go glide?

ive got one in my vlt , was built by previous owner through protrans ..... its an amazing box i cant fault the thing , its running a 3k stall
its full manual , transbrake etc .... rated to 1000hp they claim

My VL is at the shop getting a T400 put in at the moment...
However, it does have a LS1 powering it.
pro's - Great for holding power, Good tough box
con's - Sap a bit of power and only have 3 gears

Yeah decided to keep it! if i sold it i prob wont get another toy so best to keep it!
if i sold it id prob buy another road bike & that would be dangerous hahah....
Thanks jake, not keen on the C4 as they cost twice the price of a turbo 400!
guess ill just have to crank the boost up a bit to compensate for the loss of power lol....

It's making around 300 @ 18psi now but that's the tune from the other owner / workshop which was up to **** anyway .....since then iv had to redo alot of things and fix mistakes , now in a couple weeks I'll be getting my tuner initial D to sort out a tune should make a lot more I'm told
