im looking for someone who can tune EFI v8s as i have heard chipmaster no longer exists and active autos only deal with ls1 engines,what happened to tuning older commodores vn,vp,vr,vs models, is there any1 around that still does it? i have tried alan gibbs but seems his number has been disconnected im in serious need for any numbers and good tuners.prefer south of the river thanks.

Bill lee still does them and I can't remember the name of the dude north of the river but I believe Jason at the commodore service centre uses who I'm thinking of so maybe give him a call.

yes i have heard of marks workshop i believe that is up in york though and jason from csc deals through alan gibbs which i cant seem to get through to,as of bill lee i have heard bad reports as they are all from north of the river which is quite a distance,as im from rockingham/mandurah way.

mws is pro. get a blower while you're there haha but in all seriousness, a tune is pretty much the most important peice of the puzzle. dont be a tightass just because you live further out.

CHE do a ls1 ecu that controls the 5L's maybe look into that. More people are probably comfortable tuning with that.

Al Gibbs does all the tuning work for Kwinanna Performance now so try getting him through them, he is some sort of god with the efi v8's Only other reliable option is Marks Workshop, he uses Kalmaker there and has a very good name when it comes to tuning, made had a crapload of work done to his 215i vs senator including a blower etc and had nothing but good things to say
