As titles says im thinking of mounting the haed deck above the vents to the left of the aerial and rear demister switches are. My question is that it is a single din fold out screen but the screen would be above the dash height would that be illegal in Victoria? From my seated position it doesnt obstruct my view and isnt above the bonnet line. I thought itd be a good place for easy viewing (functions not video) and may even put a cup holder in the old position lol What do you guys think?

It would be no worse then having a GPS stuck on the inside of your windscreen.

http://pbckt.com/pU.3MBu6f Well this is the test fit i will fibreglass it in to make it look better, i lose the aerial buttons but thats ok (they didnt work anyway) i have wired them to a rocker switch on the console. The old DIN hole i was thinking of putting a cup holder Or extra guages http://bbs.scoobynet.com/interior-15...-din-slot.html (http://bbs.scoobynet.com/interior-15/670088-3-x-52mm-gauges-mounted-in-centre-console-din-slot.html) Now I know the headdeck sits a bit high but if i don't like it there or if a get hassled by the boys in blue its a simple case of swqpping them around so no big. Guages up top or cup holder up top doesnt matter still makes use of dead space ---------- Post added 18-08-13 at 09:41 ---------- Also been thinking about not using a dvd unit and just getting a single din audio unit Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
