Hey guys,
I have decided to do another vl turbo after i have been getting with drawls from not having a toy... Anyways i will give you guys a bit of a run down of what is done and what is happening at the moment. I have no real goal for the car but want to make the car nice and neat and as for the engine i will just keep screwing boost into it and see what happens. I will get up pics of the car and build as it progresses but am trying to get it all up and ready with in a month.
-1988 vl calais turbo

Will get up pics guys in the nested couple of days and will keep posts of progress on build and also power figures once it gets on the dyno.

nah man, had a t3 originally, then upgraded to a T04E about a year and a half ago, now going 35/40

the pipe runs from the turbo and down the front so you cant really even see it...
But im not sure yet if i will seperate it yet as i would rather sell it as a complete setup..

Going high mount now, so the pipe won't really work

if you going highmount, you usually just use a 4 inch 45 degree bend and a silicon joiner ,don't know about sydney but in adelaide they are $50 from exhaust suppliers

Btw are u sure it's an 88model? This front seats don't look to be the vn style foam, defo a s2 being button seats/full headrest but the style of seats suggest its an 87 s2!

yeah man proble is 87 i didnt even look to be honest, i will have to check today if i can wonder my hung over arse out the front lol.... the interior is in mint condition and so it the rest of the car the pics dont do it justice. I will be polishing up the rims again and getting the turbo setup finished then off to maatouks for a tune up on E85, Going for 400rwkw in her or so but will bee what happens. The car already doesnt have a problem lighting up the rear in top gear 5 up so will be good. I enjoy building cars so i am actually thinking off selling the car complete once done and starting another. The great thing about the car is the condition/no rust/engineered for all mods so its making me start to want to keep it haha... Also cheers for the comments guys on the interior i was actually thinking of taking it out of the car and putting another colour in but chose not to as it was the original interior from factory.
