Same problem im having, but once i do finally get it started and let it idle it will start straight away again if i turn it off.
Is the spark pulse from the plugs supposed to be quick like the injectors or slow? I seem to be getting spark once a second. Seems slow to me.

There could be a number of issues causing that :-
- The ignition timing is out
- Air leak at intake or snorkel
- Incorrect fuel pressure (too low)
- Blown fuse(s)
- Short or open circuit in wiring loom
- Faulty EFI or fuel pump relay
- Faulty ECU
- Loss of compression (mechanical fault,i.e. blown head gasket , burnt or bent valve(s), incorrect valve timing)
Note - You will have to isolate all those other faults listed before saying that the ECU is faulty.
