Hey guys, I've owned this thing since 2008, so it's probably about time I posted it on here. It's an 87 Genuine Calais Turbo Manual S2. I am very meticulous, and my intention was always to restore it to a modified OG/Factory look while maintaining the integrity of the car and not molesting it. A lot of my effort over the years has gone into repairing the things that often get missed when restoring a car. Rebuilding A/C controls, repairing fuel gauge etc. Make / Model: 1987 Holden VL Calais Turbo Series 2 II (LW5 MX7) Colour: Burgundy (Venetian Red (dark red) - 2F010) Engine Type: RB30ET (A8) Engine Mods: Hi-Flow Turbo Forged Engine (done less than 5,000km) Arias Forged Pistons 1/2" Head Studs Cometic Head Gasket Double Valve Springs Shot Peened Rods ACL Race Conrod Bearings ACL Race Main Bearings Aluminium Radiator Brightline Undercar Surge Tank Bosch 984 External Pump Turbosmart dual stage boost controller Power: 195 kW at the wheels @ 10psi Exhaust: 3" with 1 muffler and 1 resonator Gearbox: MX7 with redline gear oil Diff: LSD with redline gear oil Brakes: Standard VL Turbo Suspension: Pedders SportsRyder Super Low springs Pedders SportsRyder Shocks Pedders Urethane bushes Adjustable Panhard rod Wheels/Tyres: Restored 15" VL Calais rims Potenza RE001 tyres 215/60/15 White walls Interior: Boost Gauge Rear and Side Black Venetians Stereo: Alpine 9887 Head Unit 4" Kevlar Cone Coaxial's in factory dash locations Soundstream 6" Co-axials in factory parcel shelf locations Sony Xplod 12" Sub in Sony box Other Mods: High end alarm system (anti car jacking, remote boot release, turbo timer). I owned this car from 2004 - 2005 and it was the best VL I have owned. I never thought I'd see it again after the guy I sold it to sold it on. You've done a top job with it James, it's great to see it ended up back with a CT member.

Regrettably I'm thinking of selling my calais. Anyone have an idea of how much I should be asking for it?
