locking a diff head solid

hey all i don't have an lsd........yet ......... and i've welded my diff head a few times and after a few good burnouts it breaks the weld. i was just wondering if anyone had any good advise on how to weld it solid so it dosent break next time??? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

$200 for a mini spool supplied and fitted will stop the weld breaking

$80 on eBay for mini spool couple of hours to fit it easy.
