70 amps you can use an rb25 alternator its 90amps but because there is a couple of rb30 ones the plug might differ.

They are 70 amps stock (Bosch & Hitachi), when I fitted the RB30DE engine, I fitted the 90 amp skyline unit (Mitsubishi, Hitachi plug plugs straight into it) until it blew up (started overcharging the battery), so I got an external fan Bosch VL alternator which I had in my first VL and fitted the guts (stator, rotor, new slip rings & bearings ,diode pack & new regulator) from an 85 amp VN Commodore V6 alternator (fit an external fan Bosch connector for the regulator) which worked very well.

The fan is called an external regulator just for sake of asking. There is a thread of a guy putting a 110amp tb45 patrol alternator on without much hassle
