underdash brake booster setups vl vk etc.

just wondering if anyone has done an underdash or remote brake booster setup in early commodore vb to vl? how did you go about it? did u modify a kit etc? ive seen a couple cars CHU88Y vc and KNGHDT vk to name that dont have a booster in the bay but no idea if there just running without one or theyve managed to get an underdash/remote setup. dont know too much about it any info would be sweet cheers

You can get the pedal and booster assembly from wilwood they are only a couple hundred bucks from vpw you just have to run custom lines I'm pretty sure. Doin the same set up in mine

I seem to recall Chub saying that he doesn't use a brake booster? Maybe ring Lowe Fabrications and get him to share his experience with you? He'll be able to put you on to the guys that constructed his set up

yeah read a bit about wilwood setups with one or two master cyls but most people say theyre pretty stiff? anyone had a crack at keeping the booster but relocating? ie underdash ? seen a couple good setups on other forums where they mount master cylinder on the firewall (id probably want that hidden too but) and booster in the pedal box all under the dash but older cars = lots more space underdash compared to commodore. id like to keep it powered but most people say unasisted is ok like wilwood setup just gotta get it right in terms of cylinder sizes. anyone else know anything?
