Hey Guys, I own a vs executive and i am putting a sound system in. I dont really crave a sub at the moment, But i had an idea. I need to know if its possible and how much trouble/money it would cost. I am looking to fit speakers in the back doors(in executive's they dont have the cut out for it(ithink)). Of course id have the front ones and the parsell shelf speakers aswell. Is that possible, do i need door calais door trims ? etc. Also, doubt this but could be cool, can i put a stateman roof lining in and hook up some 3 inch speakers in the roof aswell or will it not fit? i understand that i would need extra wires for all of this but im willing to pay. after doing all of these wether i need an amp or not i would want one, to boost the speakers, what amp suits this job? i was looking at making it all JVC brand as i have had good expeirence with JVC in the past and dont have the deepest pockets thanks guys

Please use an amp otherwise you are wasting your time. I'd use some big 4 channels (i dont think youll find 6 channels that are powerful enough for what you want to spend) Speakers in the roof, always been a fan of this idea, it adds to the fill & sound if you position them correctly.

Yeah you'll probably need 2 4 channels, or possibly a 4 channel and a 5 channel This being running the door speakers off the 4 channel, with 6x9's bridged on another 4 channel. And 3" off the HU Or, running the door speakers off the 4 channel, 6x9's bridged on 4/5 channels. And the 3" speakers @ 2ohm. They only need 20-45wRMS off memory But I would definitely recommend using an amp as explained. Sound will be much cleaner, and will play louder.

Yeah mate it's legal. I think you'll just have to buy door pods from autobarn or supercheap. The 6" will go in back doors. 6x9's on parcel shelf. Then the 3" can go anywhere really but I'd recommend up the front somewhere such as the top bit of the door panel
