OK guys, i bought this turbo to go on my car, but ive lost my job and i really need to get some cash coming in.. It is a genuine Garrett GT35/40 BB turbo from a ford BF XR6T, It is in great condition and has little to no shaft play, forward and back! The car it came off had only done 60 thou, but the guy i bought it from had upgraded to a larger unit. I had my welder mate, weld up the rear flapper and also bridge the area where the internal gate flows would merge so it can be ran as external gate without really having to make a weird dump pipe or worry about weird exhaust flows.. You will see in the pics below.. You can just use an XR6T Flange and then weld on a 4 bolt onto that and you can use your standard 4 bolt dump pipes or whatever you wanna use.. Just realised how rough the photos look, the ones of the welded area look alot worse than they are, it is flat and not lumpy like it looks.. my iphone fails at photos.. It has the 1.06 rear housing and after alot of research and talking to alot of people, this will not perform much different to the 0.82 rear, the different in boost rpm is only like 400RPM and depending on your goals the smaller front cover can over come this anyway.. My mate had one of these on his 32 30DET and it was bossting full boost by 4500rpm and it was a peak and hold turbo.. it just boosted and stayed there to limiter..
