OK so due to financial commitments and issues i could be selling the motor i built for my VL.. It really sucks but if i do end up doing it i wanna know if anyone at all would be keen at all and what people will pay for things.. So to start with i have my fully ground up rebuilt motor.. Done by TW engineering here in adelaide. the specs of the motor are as follows: *Block hot tanked *Bored and Honed *block resurfaced *Main tunnel checked *Con rod bored checked *Crank measured *Crank drilled and removed oil gallery plug and fit screw in plug *Crank ground and collared to suit oil pump drive *All new stainless welsch plugs *Genuine n1 nissan oil pump *SRP Forged pistons *JE Steel chrome race rings *H-Beam conrods *New waterpump *New powerbond lightened balancer *Full gasket kit *multilayer steel head gasket *All new bearings top and bottom end *Bosch timing belt kit *Head cleaned and surfaced *Pressure tested and precautionary welded *Cam tunnel honed *K-lined valve guides *Re-cut high performance valve seat profile *reface valves *Machine back cut on valve head *Head got a port at polish *3 angle valve grind *CROW TX2 Cam fitted *High performance double crow valve springs *new collets and retainers *All new lifters *Oil pump collar was fitted to stop over pumping and engine failure *all parts individually balanced after arriiving and then whole motor re balanced as a rotating assembly. *has bottom half of the inlet manifold bolted and gasketed on which was ported to match the head.. Specs of the motors internals are Cylinder bore diametre:3.406 Engines stroke: 3.3465 Piston to crown deckface:0.010 Compressed gasket thickness : 0.040 Gasket average bore diametre: 3.430 Total engine capacity: 2997.943cc and a total compression ratio of 8.5181:1 Thats what i can remember for now.. Its also got a clutch and flywheel assembly to suit the motor got full balanced with the crank and motor as one.. so it should be a sound combo for big RPM and Big boost! The clutch is an Exedy XHHHBD ceramic button clutch rated to 320RWKW and has something like 1600kg clamping force. The gearbox is a r33 RB25 box with no issues what so ever.. Its a solid combo thats never even been started before.. Been sitting in my bedroom on a stand completely covered up since the day i brought it home.. Have receipts for everything exept the clutch and box but we all know what they are worth. Ok so the motor cost me in total $7000 to get built and then a futher $1200 on the gearbox and another $800 for the clutch.. So i mean all up if i were to just sell the motor it wouldnt go for less than $6000 if i were to sell it all as a package it wouldnt go for less than $7000. But i do have other parts than can bump up the price and or we could do a deal on them.. Text me on [phone removed] with genuine interest only..
