Hey guys Bare with me as i try explain since im not mechanically minded n all This is for a stock auto vlt So I was going from 100ish accelerating but some tourist pulled out in front of me so i back off and as soon as i did this a massive cloud of black smoke came out the exhaust n the turbo sounded like it was going crazy. so pulled up and the small hose thats on the left side of the inlet manifold had popped off and it had a split in it so i assumed that was the issue and cut off the dodgy bit n refitted it. But now if i put my foot down or even just 60k's+ it will boost really high n loud and will almost stall out it also has a odd rattling noise coming from the hot side of the motor. Its been timed correctly, just been serviced, no air leaks, everything is bolted down so nothing wiggles loose, new gasket on the intake manifold, tried both of my AFMs, can still idle/ be revved without stalling and be driven around but only at a snails pace :/ Only made my own thread because i couldnt find something similar, feel free to link me if i'm wrong. Cheers Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Pull the pipe off the front of the turbo & check for shaft play. Move the compressor fan at the front of the turbo with your hands. Move it side to side & backwards & forwards to check shaft play. Also a good thread here ---> http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/showthread.php?t=165781
