i bought i vl thats been sitting around for a good year not getting driven for a work car and when i took it for a spin the brakes wouldnt engage til the pedal was like 5ish cm off the floor so i bled the brakes going L/rear, R/rear, L/front, R/front and it had a **** load of air in the system but i got all the air out went to go for a drice and absolutely no brakes the car was even rolling down the driveway with the brake in to the ground so bled it again and same thing its just gotten worse and im stumped any help will be muchly appreciated cheers. (oh its drum rear too)

air is getting in somewhere. no visible leaks or cracks? you can remove the master cylinder and get seal rebuild kits just like calipers. not sure about putting in a vr one but the 15/16ths and 1" master cylinder are interchangable and able to be fitted on drum and disc so i don't see why you couldn't use a vr one.
