I know it's rather late notice. Melbourne Street Utes is hosting a cruise down the Great Ocean Road, taking in all the twists and turns and pure driving fun.The later start means basically no traffic on the way down adn the same on the way back. THE CRUISE IS OPEN TO ALL TYPES OF CARS AND BIKE AND ALL CLUBS ARE WELCOMED. More info to be added in the next few days AGAIN Melbourne Street Utes does not tollerate behaviour that is in direct conflict with Victorian road laws....if you want to be a **** you are on your own. MAP AND INFO Date: 21/4/12 Start Time: 2:00pm meet - 3:00pm departure Expected Finish Time: 8pm Meet Point: Last BP Servo on the Princes Fwy heading towards Geelong Distance Estimate: 300km round trip. (approx.) Route: Little River to Apollo Bay 1)Leave Service station in little river at 3:00pm, take the Princess Freeway to Geelong. 2)Continue along on the new Geelong Ring rd (bypass). 3) turn right onto princess Hwy/Colac rd 4) turn left at roundabout onto Anglesea road 5) Continue along Anglesea road until it joins the Great Ocean Road. 6)turn right onto Great Ocean Road. 7)Make 1st Stop in Anglesea. 15-20mins max stop for fuel if necessary, and just a stretching of legs. 8)Continue along the G.O.R until we reach Apollo Bay. 9)In Apollo Bay, arrive at pier, take photos of cars, Grab a snack or drink and re-fuel as necessary. Stop will be for approx. 1hr-1.5hrs Apollo Bay to Geelong 1)Leave Apollo Bay via G.O.R. (approx. 5.5km) 2) left turn onto Skenes creek rd. (approx. 13km) 3) turn right onto Forest-Apollo Bay rd (approx. 18km) 4) Continue along Forest-Apollo Bay rd through town of Forest at which point the road will change name to Birreguarra-Forest rd. (approx. 22km) 5)Turn right onto Cape Otway rd (approx. 2.5km) 6) Turn left onto Conns Lane (approx. 5.5km) 7) Turn right onto Princes Hwy heading through Whincelsea (approx. 43km) 8) Continue along Princes Hwy which in turn will take us back to the opposite side service station in Little River from where we started. Pull over here if you like and have a laugh/get fuel and say goodbye. MAPS WILL BE HANDED OUT WITH PICURES MAPS OF THE STOPS ON THE DAY
