Hey guys, so I finally bit the bullet and bought myself a vl turbo project, all the running gear has been built on it to run about 280rwkw, fully forged with all the fruit you can think of, it's currently sitting in my shed sanded back to bare metal and covered in a layer of primer with all the interior out of it Basically now I'm looking for someone to spray the car ASAP, all the leg works done, the body is straight as can be, it just needs to be re-primed blocked again and then sprayed Does anyone know someone who will do this cheap? (preferably around the $1000 mark) I'm not fussed if it's a guy in his back shed, I just don't want to pay out the ass to get it done ( I'm hearing $2000-$4000 from various sources)

2 - 4g's is pretty reasonable, theres still alot of work left. im assuming its just in etch primer by "layer of primer" and asuming its car 1 colour bars another There's nearly $1000 in materials alone there. And also assuming its outside only Then the car needs to be rubbed checked for any repairs needed masked up primed blocked down wet/final rub thouroughly cleaned masked up painted denibbed/polished if meeded bars rubbed primed rubbed painted denibbed polished if needed vl bars are a prick to rub and are very time consumming its like starting with clean car, its still a fair way off ready to paint. just my 2c been doing this for a while, done 10 or more vl full resprays and im a panel beater by trade

Your idea of 'ready to paint' most likely will differ to the painter too
