$600 plus. Depends on condition, brakes included, what sort of discs, etc. Rebuilt will be worth more.

If it's for a trimatic it'll probably have a different pinion flange and tailshaft. Tailshaft you don't have to use, but the pinion flange would need to be changed I imagine (not sure about trimatics). ---------- Post added 17-04-12 at 12:18 ---------- Btw, that thing looks like arse for being rebuilt 6000Km ago. ---------- Post added 17-04-12 at 12:19 ---------- Moved to differential section.

If you just want an LSD to do mad skids mate you can get one to suit your 25 spline n/a diff like i did. I got it out off an XE falcon for $80. But dont get carried away, it might need reco'ing and youll get slugged labour to fit it.... There are two types. One are a 2.77 diff ratio (dime a dozen, very common) There ratio diffs center have a smaller crown wheels DO NOT accodomate larger 3.45 diff gears (vl ones) You NEED one that is 2.92 or higher as these have a larger crown wheels to suit the larger VL diff gears. 25 spline Itll be fine for an n.a up to a fairly stock turbo setup... anything decent power youll want to upgrade Or you could just spool it, which i wouldnt recomend with 18s and wider tyres as its too much grip and youll snap axles... so forget that.

I built My Diff out of Ford 2.77 bits, a busted VR Clubby centre and Pintara diff gears . I used the ford side gears and cones with the 4 pinion clubby carrier. Still running the 25 spline axles with a hiflow, high comp conversion with 4:11 diff gears and 18's on the rear. Have had this diff together for 12 months with no dramas, however I have 28 spline axles and a spare LSD centre ready to go. The total cost of the whole diff including new bearings was $200 Cheers Ben
