Hi, as far as I know the turbo is in good working order...but I've never had it on a car. As it is now, it has no shaft play at all. I bought it off a fourm member a while back, and he told me it was taken off his car that had been T boned, and he'd only had it on for a couple of months. Unfortunately I never ended up being able to use it due money shortages:(. As for "bolt it up and away u go".... unless u have ur car tuned for this size turbo allready u won't be able to just slap it on and go boosting...it'll need tuning to suit....as with any turbo upgrade. Having said that, if u bolted it up and drove calmly(no boosting) it should b ok to drive to the tuners. Your welcome to come check it over if you like? Cheers. However, if u do end up wanting it, I'll throw in a brand new, unused ext wastegate that I have here... I won't b needing it.

i have the exact same turbo... ITS A LAG MONSTER - BE WARNED lol on a rb30, mine starts making boost around 3,000 and seeing 5psi at 3,500 i ran it on a stock vlt injectors and ecu set up, na convert not decompressed, with front mount and custom pipes... on 14psi IMHO its far too big for a rb30, boosts late... but fark it comes on hard!! see how it goes on my rb25 next, something that can rev and use the boost range :p other than that, i cant fault the turbo in any way shape of form sounds awesome when its on TURBINE WHEEL TO4"P" 2.54" 2.89" (64.51mm 73.40mm) COMPRESSOR WHEEL TO4E 2.40" 3.58" (60.95mm 90.93mm) as you can see, its got decent size wheels in it :-)

How'd u run 14 psi with a lge turbo on stock inj and ecu? I didn't know that was possible? How'd u tune the stock ecu? imho.. I think this turbo would spool a bit quicker if it were bolted to a setup that included.. Aftermarket intake/exhaust manifolds, lge throt bod, ported head, port matching, cam, full engine balance, 3-3.5in exhaust, lge inj, aftermarket ecu and proper tune. It's a bit short sighted to judge it as a lag monster wen it's bolted to a near standard setup.

Bolted it and the wastegate on and drove it lol It was shutting down at 6,000 rpm, and it didnt love life at all But it was only a slap up for one drag meeting, but it did hold together And ran a 13.4 - how? NFI, But i got time slips to back it up lol Basic math shows its gonna lag a bit cos its a big turbo But they are a great unit, and your price is good too Mine was 1199 new a few years ago, hovering between 900 and a grand new these days

That says alot for the standard gear then. I had no idea they could cope with that.
