in putting a vl sedan disc brake lsd into a vh wagon, is the only thing that needs changing is the shock absorber mounts on the diff?

I wouldn't even do that mate. I had vise versa, vl wagon diff in a vl sedan and all I did was swap the rubbers in the lower mount on the shock. The sedan actually drove better with wagon housing in it

Clearly you didn't , because the shock absorbers mount completely differently in the wagon.

But you said VL wagon diff into VL sedan. Did you mean VH?

Ok sorry mate, didn't realize the differences with vh pinion. And 5spdvl yes mate I clearly did. It was still Vl diff into Vl sedan but as above I mucked around with the rubber bushes in lower shock mount hole to get them to fit. My shocks were on the piss as they are on a wagon.
