Description Gold 1988 VL Berlina (Mocked up as Calais)
Engine: All internals of motor were assembled at Rajab Racing and development, Block, Crank, Pistons, Head, Cam, Valves ect no paperwork for this but made many phone calls to find out where motor internals were installed. From what I discussed with assembling mechanic the internals are as follows
- Block was Bored, Decked and re honed
- Forged Pistons
- Stage 3 Cam
- Heavily Ported Head
- Double cone valve springs
- New Rockers
*Engine was built to handle 30Psi from a bush bearing T66 turbo (supplied + Top mount exhaust manifold from old Rajab Drag VL)
- 610cc injectors
- All hoses for catch can, intercooler, Radiator replaced
- BKR7E platinum sparkplugs
- 10mm Racing Leads
- Custom Reverse Intake Manifold with XF throttle body
- Custom oil catch can + Speed flow fittings + Modified Rocker cover
- Bosch 044 Fuel pump
- T3 Turbo Hi-Flow
- 3” straight through exhaust except for Hi-flow cat
- Wolf 3D computer + Handheld controle $1300

Driveline + Wheels
- Jatco 3 speed auto + 3500 Stall Converter
- 2 piece tail shaft
- 28 spline axels
- Locked Diff running 3:9
- Lowered pedders springs and shocks F + R
- Adjustable Panhard Rod
- Stock Wheels all round with roadworthy tyres
- will come with brand new widened stockies 8” to fit a 245 semi slick (not provided)
Extras:
- VT brake calipers on Front
- Battery Re-located to boot running 0 gauge welding cable to under bonnet.
- Kill switch in drivers kick panel
- Full electrics for Calais except side mirrors.
- No Head unit or A/C (no a/c compressor or pipes in engine bay… built to go fast not be luxury)
Downsides:
-LHR power window switch N/W
- RHR power window Reg N/W
- slight hail damage (bonnet, Roof)
- windscreen leaks only when hit with high pressure at car wash
- passenger door seals perished and let in water, again only high pressure at car wash
- 2 pieces or front bumper broken off (can supply for plastic welding back on)
- intercooler dented due to previous owners stupidity, not cracked or leaking
- no interior light
- Alternator struggles to give good spark when headlights, demister, radio all on at once. Reason for removal of radio
Ran 12.7 at Calder but no traction in 1st gear, requires slicks for decent run.
T66 Turbo (never used) and Rajab top mount manifold can be sold separately for $1700 but motor was built specifically for them so would be better going with the car
Used to have the plates DOSNUP for a reason, sounds like a jet taking off when its spooling and doses loud. Comes with venetians and everything else in the pics. Im asking $10000 for the car itself and $11000 for everything (Turbo, manifold, widened wheels)
