Hey guys, happy easter!!
Just 2 days ago, daily routine to work, I start the car 5 mins before I got to go to warm up the beast. Now when I came back the car was sitting between 200-600RPM, slowly dying then kicking back into actionthne dying again, also got some thick black smoke pouring out for the exhaust and its coughing out that black carbon residue crap on the floor. But as I drive when it's warm its going fine but I do notice the car does sound a tad bit different. Yesterday morning the same thing happens, I talk to afew people they are saying could be oil in my leads for some reason or a cyclinder killed itself.
Do you guys have any ideas what it may be before I take it to my mechanic when he opens after the holidays?
1. don't 'warm up' your car, modern cars don't need it and it wastes fuel
2. your symptoms are similar to problems with the connections (corrosion) on the afm plug or problems with the afm itself. try unplugging it and seeing if there's an immediate difference and also if the connections are green with corrosion. if so lightly wd40 them
Agree Yeah afm mate. Erratic idle. I bought some contact cleaner n when ever I unplug something I alwase contact clean then. Don't know if litley wire brushing my cts plug is a good ideas but can't see how it could hurt. The electrical system is only as good as its weakest link
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
4-10 hp atw in a can!!! Haha that's awesome, why i could double the power my vls power output in a single spray!
What will they think of next lol
That or contact cleaner would do the same thing
