Hey guys ive got a question that any help would be great..
Ive got an RB20DET vl commodore with 20det gearbox with standard diff and driveshaft,
Im wanting to change the diff to 4"11, ive heard having 4'11 diff makes them go alot better
what car do you think is best to get the head from?

You mean "diff gears" 4.11s arnt the best on top end, good on take off tho.
Otherwise im abit confused? Whats the cars head got to do with the diff?

Diff head is what i ment by head
if 4.11 isnt the best what would you say is?

3.7/3.9, A lot more streetable, won't be pinging its head off at hwy speed.

Skylines have 4.11:1 in them. RB20's are bog and NEED 4.11's. Not sure where you got "diff head" from lol, I think you mean gear set. Auto R31 pintaras have BW78 diffs with 4.11:1 ratio, get the gear set from one of those.

Id say ditch the standard diff head and replace it with a capasitator, use a flux one tho. Ul be flying in no time ;p

28-03-12, 18:02 GMT+10#10 i've got 3.9's and at around 2750 in 5th at 100 kays, its revving high enough, 4.11's will make it rev around 3k or so... bit too much for my liking.
