Hey i need a new cat back exhaust for my na vl wagon for it to pass roadworthy to get it transfered into my name. I'm converting the rb30 to twin cam and turbo towards the end of the year so i want to go straight to a 3" before the conversion so i dont have to buy 2 systems. I'm having a bit of trouble pricing exhausts as i have only had weekends to get quotes and they have been spent fixing things that are broken on the vl. the quote i got today from a local exhaust shop was $650 for a mandrel bent 3" cat back system in mild steel or 1200 in stainless ( not inc cat). to be honest i thought F that. the only other price i have seen in redback exhausts on ebay (same specs) which were $420 for a sedan only so i have no idea how much for a wagon. so could some vlt wagon owners please let me know how much you paid for your system or what i should expect to pay? thanks.. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

1200 for stainless steal is a pretty good price, i charge round the same mark when making custom stainless exhausts

if my memory is correct my 3" was $800 custom made with a highflow cat and 1 muffler. i recon the stainless price is v good and dependent what the 650 and 400 prices include also very good.
