Hey ive been having this problem with my vl lately say in a car park and every time the clutch grabs/lets go it makes a clunking noise some times it sort of kangaroos if your slowing downin gear and just driving along you can feel/hear it every time i change gear usually its the worst if your in gear and back off and start to decelorate and accelerate and occasionally you can hear it in fourth if your not accelarating basically its okay if its in gear accelorating you wont feel/hear it at all only on and off the power and any use of the clutch. have checked uni joints they seem solid leaning towards diff any one else had this problem or any advice??

Not sure then, cause my LSD would clunk and jerk goin around corners cause I stripped the planetary gears, it would be fine driving straight.

check ur tailshaft bolts where it attaches to the diff. Mine did exactly the same as urs and it was these 4 bolts loose.
