G'day guys, As the title says i bought a billet PFI fuel rail to suit RB30 off of Sticks in the advertisers section. Been out in the shed for about an hour trying to get it to fit but the brackets supplied with the rail (which have rb30 engraved on them) dont line up with bolt holes on the manifold an seem too short aswell . Just wondering if any other CT members have had any problems with these rails an what you had to do to make it fit Cheers Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Make sure u don't have the rail upside down, and different injectorts are different lengths, u may need to extend or shorten to suit

what inlet manifold you got?

I think those rails bolt onto where those black plastic injector retainers used to bolt onto with the 10mm bolts, not like others that mount onto the manifold-head bolts

Thanks for the replys fellas. Think it was because im using the Rochestor 1000cc injectors there a bit tall an i had to run 2 o-rings a square style one an a slightly smaller one in front of it. Basically i just had to elongate (spelling?) the holes on the brackets to give me some space to play with an shes all sweet now Cheers boys

You shouldn't have had to do that. I just fitted a similar rail to VL runners with Rochester 1000cc injectors without having to modify anything. All I had to do was swap the bottom O-rings for VL style square O-rings.

Yeah thats what i was told mate but with just the single square o-ring fitted i could still wiggle them around in the runner which i didnt like. Now with both o-rings on i just pushed them in there an they locked in there perfect proberly better than how tight they push into the fuel rail to be honest
