May need to move the battery to the boot aswell as its on the other side.
Some fuel pump and wiring work? efi and carby systems are different.
V8s also have 3.08 diff gears from stock compared to VLT 3.45's

change kframe to a 6cyl one.
yeah mate chop tray out and move to the other side or relocate in boot.
the wiring should already be there for the fuel pumps just behind you fuel tank, bolt on the external pump, change fuel tank to a 6cyl one as the v8 ones are welded up without a internal.
you can use the same fuel lines that are in the car.
Leave the diff, the gears are no issue, if you want later on change the crown and pinion to a gear that suits you.
done plenty of these conversions
