remove all 6 sparkies and see if they are wet.. any dry ones will tell you which injectors are fubar or if all of them, fuel system has blockage.
5 years.... probably clogged injectors or the fuel hose on the pump inside the tank has gone rotten.
pop the sender out and check its ok.. put a new fuel filter in also at same time.
the intake pump or high pressure pump could be struggling also.
really need to flush the lines out, see if you can drain the fuel rail get some injector cleaner in there... might have to remove it though.

I'm thinking mine has a similar problem has been sitting around for about 9 months, at first started after a few attempts and spluttered and carried on, but now won't start at all.
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

in your case it could well be just contaminated fuel.
after 6 months the fuel has deteriorated to the point that its only good for parts washing fluid.
If any fuel with ethanol was ever left in the tank, the old rubber fuel lines start to break down and become a possible burst hazzard.
